Introduction to Kundalini Yoga
Murkhande Kaur (Aine Brosnan) describes perfectly how she discovered yoga and what it means to her:
“I have been practising various types of yoga since the 1980’s first attending classes while studying in UCC. I discovered Kundalini yoga 10 years ago and was immediately hooked on the natural fast acting high vibrations that I felt and have had a constant daily practice since. I love this tradition of Yoga as it has a very long and deep lineage and it’s so powerful and direct, providing the tools to heal and develop mentally physically and spiritually. It’s like washing my face in the morning I can’t imagine starting the day without having done my practice. It brings me back to point zero shunia the stillness from where all things are possible. I love sharing these powerful practices with people as they can give an instant experience of coming back to our original selves, lifting the veil of the subconscious which after all is the ultimate goal of yoga.”
She is ready to share her practice with you so you can can also discover Kundalini Yoga and enjoy it.

A Yin Practice To Welcome The Autumn Equinox
The leaves are about the show us how beautiful it is to let things go. We all change colors and lose our leaves… then we bloom again. 🍁🍂🍃
Autumn is one of my favorite seasons, I have always found it such a magical time of the year and I look forward to cosy warm jumpers, hot chocolate, walks in the woods, the fireplace, falling leaves, the chill in the air, crisp apples and woolly socks.
I invite you to come celebrate the arrival of the Autumn Equinox by slowing down with a beautiful yin yoga and mindfulness practice.
Equinoxes happen twice a year and occur when the hours of light and dark are equal. There is a lot of symbolism in this transition from summer to autumn. It marks a shift moving from yang to yin, a time where we are invited to journey inward.
The postures are designed to allow you to relax, release and let go, creating greater flexibility in muscles and connective tissue.
In Chinese Medicine Theory, Autumn is a time for letting go. To surrender. To release. To exhale.
The class will focus on grounding, self love, acceptance, receptivity and beingness – the quintessence of yin.
We will finish the practice with Yoga Nidra or Yogic Sleep
Expect to leave feeling completely blissed out.🧘♀️✨
Everyone is welcome to stay after for some herbal tea, healthy treats and chats. 💛
Dress comfortably and make sure to bring those woolly socks and a warm jumper so you can be extra cosy. 😉
